I have been living in France for last three years on a VLS-T (Long Stay Visa -tourist) renewing it each year from France. I get a new carte de séjour each time good for a year. Does that count towards 5 years permanently residing in France?

You could apply for a DCEM for each child - this would facilitate travel but it’s not a strict legal requirement, expecially if your kids are travelling with you. You apply for these in one of the parent ANEF accounts but note that you ... Read More
