TIN, SSS Identification and PhilHealth

kristopherryanwatson

Hi Everyone!

It's been quite a while - I hope everyone is doing well and in good health!

I'm planning on doing some maintenance and upkeep on my standing here as a foreign resident in the country and I have a couple of questions on a few things that I hope someone can provide advise and some answers on.

  1. The Philippine National Id = Does it  serve as any benefit to Foreigners? and is it required?
  1. I have both my TIN and SSS. Is there any physical identification card for those who have those?  are they necessary to have?  Is NBI or any other government agency required to have any sort of updating of any kind such as your place of residence, the type of work you do, and income you make etc to have your SSS and TIN in good standing ?   All i have to represent that i have such records at all is a Google Doc i created to refer to in case ever needed, albeit it has been very rare.

.

  1. Same for PhilHealth. As far as I am concerned, i believe i do have it but not 100% certain. does anyone know of a contact number i can call to verify that I have a PhilHealth record on file ?

Thanks for the Help and Advise!

Hi, the national ID is for Philippine citizens and not for foreigners. We have the ACR card.

If you have worked here you will have a TIN, SSS number and an ID from Philhealth.

If you have a property here you will have a TIN number to pay the property tax.

I have an ACR card, yes.

good to know that the Philippine National Id is not required for Foreigners. I was confused about that.

I have a SSS and TIN. But my question is if there any physical card or identification that would be of benefit or is of any requirement to have?

Thanks for your reply.

So far in 8 years here my ACR card, Driver License and Passport have been adequate enough for the Banks, Loans, CC, etc

Never needed or was asked for anything more
