My niece is in Bordeaux and she is looking for an apartment to rent while she teaches English.聽 She is not getting any help from real estate offices.聽 Does anyone know what she should do?聽 She has a roomate to share the cost.

There is an extensive market of student residences in Bordeaux, where one can rent a studio or a small appartment - "Teneo" is the most known chain, but there are others as well.

These apartments are usually more expensive than the ones that you find in the market, but they are firnished and often include in the price the utilities, the internet etc. In addition, some may find it advantageous to have management that takes care of any problems and somewhat higher security.

In any case, this may be a good temporary solutionm if one is planning to stay in Bordeaux for a long period.
