Working as a doctor in denmark

DarrylPortelli

Hi,

I am a doctor working in Malta (EU country). My primary qualifications are from Malta but I also have a post graduate diploma from the Royal college of physicians (UK). I have applied for medical authorization and am currently waiting for the response.

Can anyone who went through the process of emigrating to Denmark, guide me through what needs to be done and where to start please?
I am currently trying to lean danish as best as I can.

Thank you,

I'm guessing here, so more trying to add a thought rather than answer a question, but do you need to speak Danish to work in the medical profession over there?

Fred, a wrong guess. On the contrary, doctors need to meet stricter language requirements due to communication problems with the patients.

Darryll, take a look at a former post.
