moving to Kerala

gerlinde

I am planning to move to Kerala end of October this year. Are there any other expats living near Trivandrum/Kovalam ? I am taking my dogs with me (3), would be grateful for any advice regarding air transport from Delhi (which airline is the best for animal transport). Also for any other advice regarding living there as an expat.
Thank you very much

Hello...I am an American and not of Indian descent, however, I was wondering if India allows foreigners to retire in your country.  I had heard that foreigners of non-Indian descent cannot retire there.

Thank you!

Hi,
do you have any informatios about overland travel to Kerala ? Just heard that some airlines do not transport dogs with short noses anymore and my dogs have short noses. They might suffer from breezing problems I was told.

I think Lufthansa started flight services to Cochin directly from Germany , Uk & U.S.... They may allow dogs...

thanks a lot for your reply, but I can not sent my dogs per airways, they are short nosed and not allowed at several airlines, so I have to go by car.

Hi, I too want to move to Kerala. Is it easy to find work there? Im currently teaching English in France.  Does one need to find a job first before moving there?

Best
